Healthcare Documentation Specialist Certification

The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) offers voluntary credentialing exams for individuals who wish to demonstrate job readiness and level-specific competency to prospective employers, clients, and industry colleagues in the Healthcare Documentation Specialist role.

In offering credentialing exams for Healthcare Documentation Specialists, AHDI protects the public interest by promoting professional standards, improving medical transcription practice, and recognizing those professionals who demonstrate competency through the fulfillment of stated requirements.

Graduates from the AHDPG Healthcare Documentation Specialist training program are eligible and encouraged to sit for the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity’s RHDS credentialing exam upon graduation.
