3-Step Enrollment Process
1. Complete the Assessment
Complete the applicable assessment below to help us determine your next steps.
2. Request Your Enrollment Application
Request an Enrollment Application. We will email the application to you for review and completion.
3. Submit Your Application and Payment Information
Complete and submit the online application. If applicable, provide your payment instructions using a bank account or credit card.
Once we receive and review your completed application and process your initial payment, we will confirm your enrollment with your instructor. Your instructor will then send you a welcome email with course instructions and next steps.
Assessments
Student Screening Assessment
The Student Screening Assessment is designed to confirm that each candidate possesses sufficient computer skills necessary for success in an online training program. This includes the ability to perform tasks such as turning on a computer, sending and receiving email, navigating the internet, and managing basic operations essential for online coursework. A minimum score of 70 or higher is required for enrollment.
A score of 70 or higher is required to enroll. You are welcome to take the Student Screening Assesment as many times as you like.
Medical Billing and Coding Readiness Assessment
The Medical Billing and Coding Readiness Assessment will measure your knowledge in the areas of Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Terminology. The foundational elements needed by today’s high-performing Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialists (CBCS). This assessment will guide you to the proper level of Medical Billing and Coding Training.
To enroll in the expedited Medical Billing and Coding Only Online Training Program a score 80 or higher is required.
Medical Scribe Readiness Assessment
The Medical Scribe Readiness Assessment will measure your knowledge in the areas of Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Labs, Disease Processes, and HIPAA & HITECH. The foundational elements needed by today’s high-performing medical scribes. This assessment is used to guide you to the proper level of medical scribe training.
To enroll in the expedited Medical Scribe Training for Allied Health Professionals Online Training Program a score of 80 or higher is required.
English Language Proficiency Assessment
Our English Language Proficiency Assessment is a brief online evaluation designed to determine whether your current English reading and comprehension skills are strong enough to participate in our First Step: Haitian Creole, First Step: Portuguese, First Step: Spanish, or Medical Interpreter training and certification programs.
