Depending on your situation and the specific funding program, MassHire may be able to help you with:
- Tuition and fees for approved training programs offered by authorized training vendors, including AHDPG’s healthcare documentation courses listed in the MassHire training catalog.
- Job-skills training that supports reemployment in a high-demand occupation, such as Medical Scribe or related healthcare documentation roles.
- Extended unemployment insurance benefits while you are enrolled full-time in an approved program under the Training Opportunities Program (Section 30).
The Training Opportunities Program allows eligible UI claimants to:
- Continue receiving UI benefits while in full-time, agency-approved training and have the work-search requirement waived.
- Receive up to 26 weeks of extended UI benefits (Retraining Extended Duration/RED benefits) while completing approved training.
