The Medical Billing and Coding Readiness Assessment will measure your knowledge in the areas of Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Terminology. The foundational elements needed by today’s high-performing Certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialists (CBCS). This assessment will guide you to the proper level of Medical Billing and Coding Training.
Two Levels of Medical Billing and Coding Training to Choose From:
The comprehensive Medical Billing and Coding with Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology program includes training in Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology before training you on How to Code. This program is designed for individuals new to healthcare or those looking to refresh their knowledge in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, prior to learning How to Code.
The expedited Medical Billing and Coding Only program starts from the vantage point each candidate is already well versed in Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology and trains you on How to Code Only.
Students who score:
- 80 or higher on the assessment qualify for enrollment in our Medical Billing and Coding Only program.
- Below 60 qualify for enrollment in our Medical Billing and Coding with Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology program.
- Between 60 and 80 will have their assessments reviewed by an Admissions Coordinator to determine which program is best.
You will be automatically notified via email of your score upon completion of the assessment.
